Recently, I provided voice over for an American Express television commercial, which required me to sound professional, inviting and approachable. It was a recruitment commercial that ran in Miami, Phoenix and other markets in the U.S. It gave me a chance to sound like "the guy next door." Another voice over for a TV commercial I provided recently took it in a far different direction. It was for the Pinch A Penny Pool, Patio and Spas franchise. It's a pool, patio and spa supply store with locations throughout the Southeastern United States. They were looking for an NFL Films sound for this one. "Big, bold and epic" was the voice over direction for this TV commercial, as they ran slow motion video of student athlete's swimming laps and diving into the pool. It was a fun one to do and that's why I love doing voice over for commercials. I consider myself blessed to be able to do what I do.
